Natavan Gasimzade, an Azerbaijani compatriot and diaspora activist living in the United Kingdom, has passed away at the age of 34.
Natavan Gasimzade was born in Baku in 1992. After completing her undergraduate studies in the United Kingdom, she earned a master’s degree in Hematology from University of Westminster and began working in the medical field there, News Cover reports, citing Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
She actively participated in diaspora activities in the United Kingdom, carrying out consistent work to promote the truth about Azerbaijan and preserve the country’s national and moral values. During the 44-day Patriotic War, she played an active role in informing the international community about historical facts accurately. She also contributed to diaspora activities by participating in projects organized by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed deep sorrow over the untimely passing of Natavan Gasimzade and extended its heartfelt condolences to her family, relatives, and the diaspora community.
