The My Way Child and Youth Creative Development Center, based in New York City, USA, participated in the International Children’s Festival held in the state of New Jersey. The event was organized by the Turkish American Associations Federation and featured the presentation of various countries’ cultures.
The dance group of the My Way Child and Youth Creative Development Center performed Azerbaijani national dances to the sounds of folk music. In particular, the “Yalli” dance, considered a jewel of Azerbaijani culture, was met with great interest and applause. The performances of the young compatriots created unforgettable moments for the audience and demonstrated the deep and strong ties of shared cultural roots and national-spiritual values, News Cover reports, citing Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
It should be noted that the My Way Child and Youth Creative Development Center, led by Alyona Badalova, carries out work in the United States to promote Azerbaijani culture and present the national heritage on an international level.
