A training session titled “Intercultural Differences: Understanding, Accepting and Communicating” was held as part of the 7th Diaspora Youth Summer Camp in Eastern Zangazur.
Trainer and expert Vali Alibeyov provided participants with extensive information about the cultural characteristics of different peoples, the importance of respecting cultural diversity, and ways to communicate effectively in different environments, News Cover reports, citing Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
During the interactive training, participants exchanged views on the distinctive and interesting cultural characteristics of the countries where they live and shared their experiences in this area. Practical examples and group discussions helped young people develop their ability to communicate effectively, respect different perspectives and values, and strengthen mutual understanding.
The young participants showed great interest in the training, and their questions were answered.
It should be noted that the 7th Diaspora Youth Summer Camp is being held from August 2 to 8, jointly organized by the State Committee for Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. A total of 123 young people from 64 countries are participating in the camp. Previous camps were held in Shaki, Shamakhi, Shusha, Nakhchivan and Lachin, with more than 700 young people from 84 countries participating overall.
