A charity fair dedicated to Eid al-Adha and June 1 – International Children’s Day was held at the Azerbaijan House in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
The fair, attended by a large number of compatriots living in Hungary, aimed to promote national and moral values as well as encourage traditions of charity, News Cover reports, citing Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
Various examples of Azerbaijani national cuisine were sold at the fair, and a portion of the proceeds was allocated to support families in need as part of charitable efforts.
For information, there are currently 33 Azerbaijan Houses operating in 21 countries around the world. One of them is the Hungary Azerbaijan House, which was opened on December 27, 2019.
