UK-based Karabakh School holds online lessons on 34th Khojaly genocide anniversary

Online lessons dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide were held at the Karabakh School, operating under the British Azerbaijani Society in the United Kingdom.

During the lessons, students were provided with detailed information about the history of the tragedy, its causes, and consequences, followed by discussions, News Cover reports, citing the Azerbaijan State Committee on Work with Diaspora.

Footage recorded during the opening of the Khojaly Genocide Memorial on February 26, 2026, was also shown to students, explaining its symbolic significance and the importance of commemorating the victims of the tragedy.

It was noted that such educational lessons help strengthen the national identity of Azerbaijani youth living abroad and encourage their efforts to convey historical truths to the international community. It was also emphasized that similar initiatives will continue in the future.
