Azerbaijani artist presents Tales from the Caucasus in London

A painting exhibition titled Tales from the Caucasus by Azerbaijani artist Ulviyya Iman, who lives in the Czech Republic, has been held at the Gazelli Art House gallery in London.

The exhibition was organized in partnership with the Azerbaijan Women’s Association, which operates in the UK, News Cover reports, citing the Azerbaijan State Committee on Work with Diaspora.

Visitors had the opportunity to speak with the young artist and learn more about her work and the cultural richness of Azerbaijan. Each of her pieces reflects ancient traditions, cultural values, and historical memory, expressed through the language of contemporary art.

It is worth noting that Ulviyya Iman’s works have previously been showcased in the Once Upon a Time at Sea group exhibition at the Museum of Azerbaijani Painting of the 20th–21st centuries at the YARAT Contemporary Art Center, as well as at the Gazelli Art House gallery in Baku. She also participated in the 5th Summer Camp for Diaspora Youth held in Lachin.
