With the support of the Azerbaijan Diaspora Support Fund under the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Alliance of Azerbaijanis in Germany, a concert dedicated to May 28 – Independence Day was held in Berlin, the capital of Germany.
The concert, attended by hundreds of compatriots from Germany as well as the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Poland, France, and other countries, featured performances by Azerbaijani rapper Orkhan Zeynalli and singer Nargiz Majidli. The rapper’s songs, particularly those in a patriotic spirit dedicated to promoting national values, were met with great enthusiasm, News Cover reports, citing Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
The event highlighted the importance of organizing Independence Day celebrations in many countries around the world and jointly marking this holiday with Azerbaijanis living abroad.
The gathering of diaspora representatives, strengthening of national solidarity, and promotion of Azerbaijani culture gave the concert special significance.
