Azerbaijan’s tea culture was showcased at the international Brussels Tea Festival 2026, held in Brussels.
Azerbaijan was represented at the festival by the FireLand Azerbaijani Association. The country’s stand, organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Belgium, featured a variety of Azerbaijani teas, traditional sweets and preserves, News Cover reports, citing Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
The Azerbaijani stand attracted considerable interest from visitors. Guests sampled different varieties of Azerbaijani tea and learned more about the country’s traditions of hospitality. Visitors were also introduced to Azerbaijani tea culture and the role of tea gatherings in the daily life of the Azerbaijani people.
Representatives from Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Japan, China, Taiwan, India, South Korea, Germany, the Czech Republic, Sri Lanka and other countries also took part in the festival.
