Azerbaijan-American Youth Federation Holds Meeting in New York

The Azerbaijan-American Youth Federation, based in New York City, has held its latest members’ meeting, bringing together nearly 40 members of the Azerbaijani community, including newly joined students and young people who had participated in previous programmes and events.

The meeting aimed to strengthen ties among young Azerbaijanis living in the United States, promote communication and cooperation, and create opportunities for them to unite around shared initiatives, News Cover reports, citing Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora.

Participants were provided with detailed information about the Federation’s activities, key objectives and ongoing projects. A presentation also highlighted events and initiatives organized in previous years.

The participants then introduced themselves, sharing information about their fields of study, professional activities and personal interests. They discussed opportunities to establish new connections, strengthen existing relationships and implement joint projects in the future.

The meeting helped new members get to know other Federation participants, identify common interests and lay the groundwork for future cooperation.

Held in a friendly atmosphere that encouraged open communication and the exchange of ideas, the gathering featured engaging and informative discussions.

Founded in 2023, the Azerbaijan-American Youth Federation works to expand connections among young Azerbaijanis, promote national and cultural values and the ideology of Azerbaijanism, unite members of the Azerbaijani community, and encourage their active participation in diaspora activities.
