Azerbaijani Youth Take Part in Intellectual Quiz Competition in Hamburg

An intellectual quiz competition for Azerbaijani young people and students has been held in Hamburg, Germany. More than 30 members of the Azerbaijani community took part in the event, organized by the Association of Azerbaijani Students and Researchers (VASW e. V.).

The main aim of the competition was to strengthen ties among young Azerbaijanis living in Germany, create opportunities for them to meet and expand their social networks, and contribute to the effective use of their leisure time, News Cover reports, citing Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora.

The team-based intellectual game challenged participants to test their knowledge and logical thinking skills by answering questions on a wide range of topics. The friendly atmosphere and opportunities for exchanging ideas also enabled young people to get to know one another better and establish new friendships and cooperation networks.

The young participants proposed holding similar competitions in other German cities in the future. It was announced that a final round is planned to take place in Berlin, bringing together the winning teams from competitions organized in different cities.

Founded in 2007, the Association of Azerbaijani Students and Researchers (VASW e. V.) supports Azerbaijani students and young professionals living in Germany across various fields, contributes to the development of collective initiatives, and promotes Azerbaijan’s rich history and culture in Germany. The association’s current chairperson is Madina Samadova.
